How to Apply
For all programs, you meet the following basic eligibility requirements:
Completion of the application and all other necessary forms: follow the links below to access the application for each program
Submission of all required documents: Photo ID’s, Birth Certs/Social Security cards.
Verification of Eligible Immigration status – If not a US citizen, verification documenting legal residency of the United States.
Pass background check- applicants must not have engaged in violent criminal activity or committed drug crimes in the last 3 years . Denied applicants may request an informal hearing, as detailed in our FAQ. Sexual offenders and those convicted of meth production in assisted housing units are not eligible for housing programs.
Step 1: Note the Current Income Threshold
Our voucher programs and rental units require certain income limits. Refer to the table below as you decide which programs to apply for. These limits are updated each year by state and federal government.
Step 2: Apply for All Programs that Interest You
We encourage you to apply for as many programs as you feel you’re eligible for by following the links below. Since many of our programs have years-long waitlists, you can apply even if you aren’t sure you are 100% eligible, as your situation may change.
When an applicant reaches the top of the waitlist, MHA staff will send a full application
